For example, you wrote, "meat producers like JBS, Tyson and Cargill fly beneath the radar of public censure – yet, according to one study, these three companies together emit more than France", but didn't mention that these are all US-based companies. As far as I know there isn't a comparable equivalent operating at that scale (production per head or hectare) in the UK? So comparing the coverage of both systems would presumably be quite complex: both are likely to have very different drivers and effects. Very interesting food for thought though, and will seek out the original research.
